Let Cyberpunk 2077 be positioned as a global project, no one forgets about its Slavic roots, as well as about the taste preferences of the developers. The other day, for example, CD Projekt RED published a list of actors in the dubbing of the Polish version of a futuristic shooter. The news was a pleasant surprise for fans of the old series based on The Witcher.
According to a message on the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter page, the male version of the protagonist will be voiced by Camille Kulya, who spoke for Black Panther and Aquamen in Polish dubbing films of the same name. The female protagonist will be voiced by Lidia Sadova, whom Polish viewers have heard starring Elsa from Frozen and Tauriel from The Hobbit. The most interesting choice of the actor, which is not surprising, was played by the character of Johnny Silverhand played by Keanu Reeves. He will speak in the "home" version of the action movie in the voice of Michal Zhebrovsky – the performer of the role of Geralt in the 2001 series The Witcher.
So fans of the work of CD Projekt RED and Andrzej Sapkowski can be calm – in some way the spirit of The Witcher will hang in Cyberpunk 2077. But who will give the voices to the heroes in the Russian version of the role-playing action is still unknown. It is expected that this information will be disclosed on Igromir 2019, where, by the way, the brilliant Hideo Kojima will come. As for the new series based on The Witcher, its premiere is expected to take place on December 17 this year.
